An Evening of Heavenly Harp

Janet Witman has been a dedicated and esteemed teacher and performer of classical and celtic harp music for over four decades. She is a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music and West Chester University. She won the U.S. Scottish and all Eastern National Championship in 2000 and took her harp orchestra, “Brandywine Harps” to Scotland to perform at the Edinburgh Harp Festival in 2009. She is principal harpist with Kennett Symphony, performs with the concert harp duo, “Principally Harps” and operates her own harp music publishing business. She has been a featured performer with outstanding choral ensembles, Wheatland Chorale, Chester County Choral Society, Brandywine Chorale, and Christ Church Choristers with John Rutter.
