FAITH YOUNG ADULTS seek to provide young adults (18-30s) with the opportunity to more deeply understand the grace of God through Jesus and to pursue lives of purpose in community with others. Our burning desire is to know God, know one another, and serve the world with the renewed dignity that comes from Christ.
Tuesday Night Study
The purpose of our Tuesday Night Study is to create an environment where young adults - single or married - can explore Christianity or deepen their commitment to following Jesus. We meet at the home of Tom and Stacey Harr (800 Marsh Road, next to the church) on most Tuesday's at 7:00 PM. Following the study, we relax and hang out with snacks. Urban Promise Reading Nights
Once a month on a Tuesday night during the school year, we partner with Urban Promise on the East Side of Wilmington to read to and with elementary school age kids. These evenings provide a great opportunity to invite friends, co-workers and classmates to see the love of Jesus lived out through service.
Community
In addition to Tuesday evening activities, we regularly sponsor opportunities to get to know one another better and to introduce our friends to the community of Jesus. In the last year, these have included a Blue Rocks baseball game, a Chili Cook-Off, picnics and a Labor Day kickball game.
