Cynthia Naylor

Early Childhood Administrator / ECCC

Cynthia, the director of Faith Preschool and Child Care, was born in Wilmington, DE, but raised in the southern states most of her childhood. Cynthia returned north and graduated form the University of Delaware. She has continued with her education at Wilmington University.

Cynthia started a relationship with the Lord in her adult years in Atlanta, GA. After returning to DE, Cynthia started working at Faith Preschool and Child Care and attending Faith Church. In 1995, she started out as a 4 -year-old preschool teacher. Cynthia has always had a passion for teaching especially 4’s and has taken on the task of Director since 2000. Cynthia is married and has a wonderful son. Cynthia enjoys taking excursions with her family and seeing God’s beautiful creation.

Crystal Harvey

Assistant Director

A graduate of Columbia International University, in Columbia, South Carolina, Crystal Harvey serves Faith Preschool and Child Care as the Assistant Director. Her Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Bible teaching has trained her for curriculum design and implementation in a school setting. Crystal is married with two children that attend The Christian Academy. Both girls attended and completed Faith preschool and Child Care programs through kindergarten. She has worked as both a teacher and office administrator for many years.

Crystal is originally from Lancaster, PA where she came to know the Lord just before the age of 4. Crystal has been a long time member of Bible teaching evangelical churches. She also had the blessing of growing up in a godly Christian home. This has given her a firm foundation in Scripture and faith that has brought her here to Faith.

Crystal enjoys music and language. She has studied both Spanish and French in school. Her time in Ecuador, South America secured her fluency in Spanish. She offers that gift to our students as our Spanish teacher. Crystal loves spending time helping to train children in the faith. It gives her great pleasure to be used of God as our Assistant Director.

Chris Scott

Early Childhood Curriculum Coordinator / Kindergarten Teacher

Mrs. Scott has over 20 years experience in teaching. Her goal is to establish a solid foundation of learning as the children begin their education. Teaching Bible truths, math, letters, writing, reading skills, science, social studies, respect for self & others and good citizenship are all part of the curriculum.

Mrs. Scott is a graduate of Neumann College in Aston, PA. She graduated SCL with degrees in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. She is married and her family includes 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Mrs. Scott’s hobby is spending time with her grandchildren

Julie MacDonald

ECA / ECCC / EC Preschool Teacher

Julie MacDonald began working at Faith Preschool in September 2009. Mrs. MacDonald obtained her B.A. in English from the University of Connecticut and her Master’s Degree in Education from St. Josephs College. She has worked in the field of early childhood for more than 15 years as a teacher, childcare administrator and trainer. Mrs. MacDonald is a member of Faith Presbyterian Church, along with her husband, and they have three children: Bradley, Georgia, and Luke.

Ann Barlow

Early Childhood Preschool Teacher

Mrs. Barlow resides in Wilmington and is a member of Faith Presbyterian Church. She is a graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in Journalism. She and her husband are parents of four sons and two daughters. They recently welcomed their second grandchild into their family. Mrs. Barlow has been active in both school and church activities. She has severed in leadership positions with various PTA organizations from elementary school to high school. At church, she has taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Women’s Bible Studies and Junior Church. She currently is serving as a Deaconess and is teaching grade four to six in Sunday School.

She is excited to be a part of Faith Preschool as a Faithful Fours teacher and Music instructor. She looks forward to sharing her faith in Christ with the preschool children. She seeks to nurture a child’s faith, creativity, and socialization skills. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, reading, scrapbooking and decorating.

Jennifer Norris

Early Childhood Preschool Teacher

Jennifer was born and raised in Pennsylvania. Jennifer had the privilege to attend the Christian Academy from Kindergarten all the way to 12th grade. Jennifer continued her education at Penn State University and graduated with an Associates Degree in General Education. She is a wife and proud mother of two wonderful boys. Jennifer attends Faith Church and helps with the children programs at Church as well. Jennifer enjoys singing with the church’s praise team, playing hand bells with choir, shopping and spending time with my family. She also enjoys watching her boys play baseball, even though coaches pitch games!

Jennifer has held several positions here at Faith including afternoon caregiver, Music teacher, gym teacher and preschool teacher. Jennifer truly enjoys the opportunity and privilege she has to instill a love of knowledge and to make learning fun.

Sherri Jones

Early Childhood Curriculum Coordinator/ Preschool Teacher

Sherri is a life-long resident of Wilmington, Delaware. She had a brief stay in Langhorne, Pennsylvania where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Philadelphia Biblical University. This is Sherri’s fourth year teaching the three-year-olds here at Faith. Sherri has a real passion for young children and this is evident in watching her grow as a teacher. Sherri enjoys watches your children grow and she loves teaching more every year. Sherri and her husband Robert are proud parents of a baby boy born this past June.

Casandra Needs

Early Childhood Preschool Teacher

Casandra has lived in Delaware all her life. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant high school and is currently attending Wilmington University. She looks forward to finishing her Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Casandra is a wife and a proud mother of three. She attends Wilmington 1st Assembly of God. She is involved in the children’s ministries at church and she enjoys the mom’s ministries as well. Casandra began teaching at Faith in 2004. Her two older children have completed the programs here at Faith including Faith Kindergarten. Casandra enjoys reading, playing with her children, and spending time with her extended family.

Lynette Moore

Early Childhood Preschool Teacher

Lynette is the only daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Ellis Moore. She is the oldest of three children. Lynette was born in Miami, Florida, where she lived for most of her life. After her marriage to Melvin Moore in 1997, she relocated to Philadelphia and eventually to Wilmington, Delaware shortly there after. Lynette is the proud parent of two children Ashlynn and Eric. She has been employed by Faith Preschool and Child Care for 6+ years. She enjoys working with the children as well as teaching them good Christian and moral values.

Jennifer Wulcewicz

Early Childhood Preschool Teacher

Jennifer was born and raised in Delaware. She grew up in a Christian home and went to The Christian Academy from 3rd grade to 12th grade. Jennifer has an Associates Degree in Business and she is currently working towards her teaching degree. Jennifer attends Reformed Presbyterian Church of Boothwyn. Jennifer has two beautiful girls that have enjoyed attending Faith Preschool and Child Care. Jennifer has worked at Faith for two years with the three-year-olds and four-year-olds. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time working with her girls, shopping, and playing or watching softball.

Emily Kirchner

Early Childhood Preschool Teacher, Gym Teacher, Substitute

Emily was born and raised in Pennsylvania. Emily has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Child Hood Education from Millersville University. Emily and her husband have two wonderful children. This is Emily’s 2nd year teaching here at Faith. Prior to teaching at Faith, Emily worked as a job coach for the Delaware County Intermediate unit.

Awilda Brozak

Early childhood intern

Awilda Brozak is originally from New York. She came to Pennsylvania 23 years ago with a job transfer. Awilda has been married for 20 years and has three teenage children. Her oldest daughter, Taylor, started coming to Faith Presbyterian Church’s youth program 6 years ago. All three of her children now attend the youth group and her and her husband, Ned, are members of Faith Presbyterian Church.

Awilda volunteers in Faith’s nursery ministry during the worship services on Sundays. And, she cares for the children during a Wednesday morning Bible study at the church. Awilda’s hobbies are sewing, scrap booking, and crafts. Awilda is an avid sports fan, especially baseball.
