 LEADERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT

On June 3, 2012, the congregation of Faith Presbyterian Church voted to call the Rev. Kevin Koslowsky as Faith Church’s next Senior Pastor. Pastor Koslowsky is well known to the Faith congregation because of his ten years of ministry here. After the announcement in early 2012 of Pastor Brown’s retirement, the congregation elected a pulpit committee who interviewed and recommended Kevin to the congregation. Our regional gathering of churches, Heritage Presbytery, unanimously approved this ministry transition at their September meeting.

Retiring Senior Pastor, the Rev. James Brown, has been called by the elders of Faith to serve as a part-time Assistant Pastor. We are thankful for Jim’s 27 years of ministry at Faith, including 25 as senior pastor, and are grateful for his ongoing ministry in our midst. This ministry transition provides us with pastoral continuity and care, and establishes us under the next generation of pastoral leadership for ongoing Gospel proclamation in our community.

Rev. Kevin Koslowsky was installed as the new Faith Presbyterian Church senior pastor on Sunday, October 7th.

Listen to Pastor Koslowsky’s first sermon as senior pastor elect in which we hear of the hope of true leadership rooted in the Gospel and dedicated toward the mission of the church.
